2.3.Little Lamb Class Requirements

The requirements are organized into five areas: Little Lamb Programme Requirements, My God, My World, My family and Myself. Each child will complete most of the programme requirements as part of the Little Lamb meetings. The completion of each requirement will be noted in the lesson by a star or sticker by the child’s name on the Little Lamb Record Chart. At the end of the Little Lamb year, each child completing all the requirements will receive the Little Lamb pin. The following shows the overview of the class requirements:
Parts

2.3.1.Little Lamb Programme Requirements

1.Be enrolled in Pre-school or be 4 years of age by 31st December of the year you begin the Little Lamb program.
2.Memorize and recite the Little Lamb Pledge.
3.Sing the My Shepherd Theme Song
4.Have someone read to you a story from each of the following categories:
a.Bible story
b.Nature story
c.Character-building story
d.Family story
5.Learn how to properly salute the British flag and say the pledge of allegiance
6.Earn six Little Lamb stars

2.3.2.My God

1.Have someone help you memorize Psalms 23:1.
2.Learn and sing a song about Jesus' love for you.
3.Read about the story of salvation and talk about God's relationship with Jesus and us.
4.Make a Thank You card, thanking God for something special to you.
5.Earn the Bible Friends star.
6.Earn the Prayers star.

2.3.3.My Family

1.Pick up your toys or help set the table properly for five days.
2.For one week, do something nice for everyone in your family (i.e. tell them you love them, draw them a picture, help clean, etc.).
3.Have prayer at family worship.
4.Draw a picture of your family and tell about your picture.
5.Have someone help you memorize Exodus 20:12.
6.Earn the Kitchen Fun star.

2.3.4.My World

1.Learn the names of five fish and color a picture of each.
2.Learn six different shapes (square, circle, rectangle, triangle, diamond, and oval).
3.Learn your alphabet, colors, and numbers.
4.From magazines, cut out pictures of 20 plants and animals that God made and put them in a scrapbook.
5.Read the story of creation and do a craft about what you read.
6.Take a nature walk and collect any pieces of trash you see on the floor.
7.Plant a seed and take care of it.
8.Have someone help you memorize John 3:17.
9.Earn the Leaves star.
10.Earn the Pets honor.

2.3.5.Myself

1.Get someone you know very well (Mommy, Daddy, big brother or sister) to help you make an outline of your body using brown or white paper. Learn the main location of your body parts (eyes, nose, legs, hands, arms, feet, toes, and fingers).
2.Dress yourself for a week.
3.Make a picture of Jesus and you.
4.Make a book about yourself.
5.Learn your phone number and your parent's names.
6.Learn how to write your full name.
7.Have someone help you memorize Psalms 100:3
8.Earn the Jump for Joy star.
9.Earn the I Can Be a Big Kid star.

3.3.1.Eager Beaver Programme Requirements

2)Memorize and recite the Eager Beaver pledge.

School Readiness
1.Memorize the eight major colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown and black.
2.Memorize the primary colors: red, yellow, and blue.
3.Earn the 'Color Your World' chip.
4.Ask your parents to tell or read you a story about Ellen G. White.
5.Memorize Philippians 4:4 and three Bible verses of your choice. (Also covered under the section on My God)
Play
1.Earn at least twelve Eager Beaver chips. Two from each division.
2.Work on a minimum of six craft projects of your choice.

3.3.2.Myself

1.Learn to:
a. Tie your shoes (or Velcro them properly).
b. Comb or brush your hair.
c. Brush your teeth properly.
d. Dress yourself.
e. Wash your hands.
2.Memorize John 3:16 and another text from the list below.
Genesis 1:27;Psalms 32:7 or 119:73; Proverbs 3:1 or 20:11; John 14:15;
1 Corinthians 10:31; 1 John 4:7 or 12 or 19
3.Learn your telephone number, full name, parent's name, and address.
4.Earn at least two Beaver Chips from the list below:
Alphabet Fun, Know Your Body, Little Music Maker, Manners Fun, Me I'm Special, Physical Chip

3.3.3.My God and Country

  1. Learn to pray to Jesus.
  2. Memorize The Lord's Prayer.
  3. Memorize the First Commandment and the first eight words of the Fourth Commandment.
4.Memorize your country's Pledge of Allegiance or National Anthem.
  1. Memorize Philippians 4:4 and another verse relating to God from the memory verses below:
    Deut. 6:5 or 7:21; Psalms 8:9 or 32:8 or 92:1; Proverbs 3:5; Matthew 22:37; John 3:16; 1 John 4: 7,8 and 19
  2. Earn at least two Beaver Chips from the list below.
    Basic Bible; Bible Stories; God's Gift; Jesus Loves Me; Things That Grow

3.3.4.My Family

  1. Memorize the Fifth Commandment. Give an explanation.
  2. Choose from five of the following activities. (Do the activity for five working days):
    a. Wash, dry, or empty the dishwasher dishes.
    b. Pick up your toys.
    c. Hang up your clothes.
    d. Make your own bed.
    e. Fold the clean clothes.
    f. Take care of your pet(s).
    g. Water the plants in your house.
    h. Lead out in worship with a story.
  3. Help pack a lunch and participate in an outdoor activity with a family member, close friend, or your club.
  4. Earn the Special Families or Pets chip
  5. Memorize a Bible verse from the list below. Memory Verses
    Exodus 20:12; Mark 3: 34; Ephesians 3:15 or 6:1; 1 John 4:21

1.Prepare and deliver a food basket to a needy family.
2.Make and deliver a Get Well Card to a sick person.
